What services does Renew provide?
Renew is a Medicare broker that offers Medicare Advantage plans, Part D (Prescription Drug) plans, and Medicare Supplement (also known as Medigap) plans. In addition to making it easier to find and purchase Medicare coverage, we are also on a mission to simplify the retirement process as a whole. Our Retirement Hub is where we regularly publish informative articles, powerful tools, and other helpful resources that take the stress out of complex steps in the retirement process. Whether you are browsing Medicare plans, determining when to begin collecting social security benefits, or doing research and preparation on behalf of a loved one, Renew is here to help.
How much does Renew cost?
The resources on our Retirement Hub are offered at absolutely no cost to you. So you can feel 100% confident sharing the articles, tools, and videos you find here with your friends and family members!
How does Renew make money?
If you enroll in a plan through Renew, we make a commission from the insurance company, but this will never change the price you pay for coverage, and it does not have any impact on the plans we recommend. Your health needs will always come first!
Do I have to create an account to use Renew?
You are not required to create an account in order to browse Medicare plans or take advantage of the various resources provided on our site. However, we do recommend creating an account in order to enjoy a more personalized experience on the site. When you create an account, you can:
- save your health and drug information;
- receive personalized plan recommendations;
- estimate your health and prescription drug costs; and
- save plans for future reference
How do I create an account?
Creating an account with Renew is easy. Simply visit https://medicare.renew.com/signup and follow the prompts to provide us with a few key pieces of information, like your ZIP code, birth date, and email address.
How do I reset my password?
If you forgot your password, or would simply like to update it, you can do so by visiting https://medicare.renew.com/forgot. Provide the email address associated with your account, and we’ll send you a time-sensitive link to change it.
What is The Renewsletter & how do I join it?
Use this form to subscribe to The Renewsletter if you’d like to receive answers to questions about Medicare, Social Security, and other aspects of this next phase of life straight to your inbox. We’ll share regular updates from the Retirement Hub, including helpful articles, powerful tools, and other resources that take the stress out of retirement.
How do I change my email preferences?
To change your email preferences, log in to your account, navigate to “settings” from the main menu, and select “Communications”. From this view, you can update your information and your preferred mode of contact.
How do I delete my account?
If you decide that you’d like to delete your account, give us a call at 1-888-41-RENEW.
How can I share Renew with a friend or family member?
Even if you are not currently in the process of planning your retirement, Renew’s content can be a useful resource for those in your life who are. You can send them directly to renew.com, or, if a specific article catches your eye, click the “Share” button to post the link to Facebook or Twitter. You will also have the option to forward the link via email.

Most people will not be automatically enrolled in Medicare. What are Part D plans?
Medicare Part D plans (also known as Prescription Drug plans) are required in order to get prescription drugs covered while on Medicare. Original Medicare does not provide coverage for medications unless they are administered as part of a procedure that is covered under Original Medicare.
What are Medicare Advantage plans?
Medicare Advantage plans are an alternative to Original Medicare. While these plans are offered by private insurance companies, they are still required to provide the same benefits that are covered by Medicare Parts A & B. Most, but not all, of these plans include Prescription Drug coverage, and some offer additional benefits like vision, hearing, or dental care. Does Renew offer Medicare plans in my state?
Currently, Renew offers Medicare plans for residents of California. If you aren’t in California, please check back this August, when we’ll be offering plans nationwide.
