Demand Management Programs for Customers

ReNew supports customers in reducing the environmental impacts through customer-focused demand-side management programs and solutions. ReNew’s Round-the-Clock renewable energy offering combines renewable generation and energy storage to provide firm, dispatchable and reliable clean power throughout the day. By enabling utility, commercial and industrial customers to meet their continuous electricity requirements through renewable energy, the solution helps manage customers’ demand for conventional grid electricity and reduces their reliance on thermal power. This transition may also reduce the indirect water footprint associated with coal-based power generation, where water is required for activities such as fuel processing, cooling and plant operations.

ReNew also promotes water-efficient practices for the operation and maintenance of solar installations. These include cleaning approaches designed to reduce freshwater requirements while maintaining effective module performance. Where such solutions, services or operating guidance are provided to customers, they can help reduce customers’ water consumption associated with the periodic cleaning of solar modules. Together, ReNew’s RTC clean-energy offering and water-efficient solar solutions support customers in managing their energy and water demand more sustainably.

Sustainable Transportation Options for Customer Use

Developing Sustainable Transportation through Round-the-Clock Renewable Power

ReNew is supporting the transition to more sustainable transportation by developing Round-the-Clock (RTC) renewable energy solutions for Indian Railways. Through projects with Railway Energy Management Company Limited (REMCL), ReNew will supply firm, round-the-clock green power to meet the traction and operational electricity requirements of the railway network. By combining solar and wind generation with battery energy storage, the projects are designed to provide dependable renewable electricity even during periods when solar or wind resources are unavailable.

The RTC II and RTC III projects will integrate solar and wind capacity with dedicated battery storage under long-term power purchase agreements. By enabling Indian Railways to replace a portion of conventional grid electricity with reliable renewable power, ReNew’s service supports lower-carbon passenger and freight transportation without compromising the continuous and high-reliability energy requirements of critical rail infrastructure.

In order to offer flexible payment options or digital tools to help our customers manage their expenses we make use of CRM portal which shows all the previous billing details of the customer along with slot-wise generation details from the plant to enable them to manage their consumption better.

Daily Energy Generation Monitoring

This feature enables stakeholders to monitor daily energy generation with near real-time data and gather necessary insights. This helps them track performance and identify deviations promptly thereby ensuring operational efficiency.

Customer Feedback and Concern Management

This feature enables customers to raise grievances regarding projects as well as provide feedback on project management which allows us to proactively refine our services and prioritise quick and effective resolution of queries and concerns, fostering clear communication and strengthening trust

Invoicing and Billing

This system which is currently under development will provide a clear and up-to-date view of customer’s billing status, making it easier to track invoices, monitor due dates and facilitate timely payments resulting in enhanced transparency and better coordination between customer and business teams. In an effort to provide financial support or bill assistance to customers we provide prompt payment discount to our C&I Consumers ranging from 0.5% to 1% in case they make payment within 5 to 7 days of bill generation date. The same is reflected in our bill that if the consumer pays within the aforesaid specified timeline, prompt payment discount shall be given
