It has also committed to reduce its emissions by 90% by 2040, aligned to SBTi.

ReNew has set defined targets, which includes the use of digital analytics and AI to improve the energy efficiency of its assets by 1.5% to 2% over its current values by 2025. By leveraging digital analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence, operations have been automated, bringing down ReNew’s emissions.

ReNew has been ranked among the top seven renewable power companies globally and among the top 10 global utility firms by Morningstar Sustainalytics. The company has received numerous awards, including twice being recognised as the Global Lighthouse by the World Economic Forum, and was ranked among the 'Top 15 Climate Tech Companies to Watch' by the MIT Technology Review. ReNew also won the COP28 Energy Transition Changemaker award & Terra Carta Seal in 2023.
