About ReLead

ReNew, a leading decarbonization solutions company, started ReLead 8 years ago with a vision of stimulating the talented youth of our country to think about the green energy space and develop a knowledge base to seek employment opportunities in the clean energy space.

The ReLead platform was created to bring in more awareness among the students of premier institutes about the renewable energy sector which is projected to employ millions of youth over the next decade. There are opportunities available across levels and functions.

ReLead is a business case study competition open to selected premier B-school students in India. The case study will focus on business issues that will help ReNew make strategic and financial decisions in our journey to becoming the most innovative clean energy solution provider.

Stages & Timelines

18^th August 25

ReLead Registration

The registration window will open for 7 days for teams to register and confirm their participation in the competition. Please note that the registration window will close after the specified period. No exceptions will be allowed if a team fails to register. Registered teams will then proceed to the Case launch and solution preparation stage.

Case Study Launch

The case question will be published on our website. Participating teams can log in to their accounts to download it. A webinar for the Case Study Launch will also be conducted - details will be available on the website. Join the webinar to gain insights on how to approach the case study solutions.

25^th August 25

Case Submissions

Sufficient time will be given to all the registered teams to prepare a case solution. Each team needs to keep visiting the website to stay up to date on the case competition’s timeline.

Teams are required to submit their case solutions in a prescribed format. Please note that failure to submit your case will result in disqualification from the Case Competition.

Campus Round

After the case solutions are submitted by the teams, they undergo a thorough evaluation by our dedicated ReLead Campus Evaluator team. We select the top three teams from each campus, who are then invited to participate in the Campus Round.

The Campus Round will be a virtual/in-person event where the top three teams will present their solutions to our panel. All participating and non-participating students will be invited to attend the event so that they can also be part of the evaluation by "Voting for their ReLead Star" after the Campus Round.

National Final Round

Once the Campus Round is complete, we select our top five Campus Winners. These 5 Campus Winners are given a chance to visit our Head Office in Gurgaon for a day-long National Final Round where they present their cases to our eminent jury members. Our National Finalists are evaluated by a mix of internal and external panel members.

Eligibility & Guidelines

Eligibility Criteria & Team Formation Guidelines:

The competition is open only to all 2^nd year MBA/PGDM students in India.
A team must consist of 3 members.
The members of each team should be of the same institute.
The team should have one female participant.
Only primary members will have access to the live case study.
A participant cannot be part of more than one team.

General Instructions for Case Submission

1. Two files need to be submitted on the website on or before the submission day with the details mentioned below:
- Executive Summary: This should include the core idea/summary of your presentation and should not exceed 2 slides.
- Main Presentation: Main Presentation: Do not exceed 10 slides for the main deck (excluding the appendix). Use your own judgment to decide the number of slides for each deliverable. The appendix should not exceed 20 slides.
To keep the content readable, do not use a font size below 10. Preferably, use 12 or above.
Please make assumptions wherever required and state them clearly in the footer section.
Please make your presentation in a way that it can be presented within 15 minutes.

Any absence or delay in submission shall be the risk of respective teams and shall be tantamount to disqualification
Plagiarism, if discovered at any stage would mean automatic disqualification.
In case of any disputes, the decision of the jury will be final and abiding.

Rewards and Prizes

Campus Winners

All Campus Winners will receive a Pre-Placement Interview Offer.

National Runner Ups

The National Runners Up will win a prize of ₹1,00,000

National Winners

The National Winners will win a prize of ₹1,50,000

Top 5 teams out of the campus winners will be invited for the National finals at the ReNew Corporate Office, Gurgaon.

Voting Process and Guidelines

Steps of Voting:

To cast your vote for your ReLead Star:

Go to the Login Tab and enter your Campus Name and Campus Email ID.
Enter the OTP sent to your email.
Choose the team you want to vote for.
Click on Vote.
A pop-up notification will confirm: "You have successfully voted for your favorite team."

Voting Guidelines:

Please note that you can only vote for teams representing your campus (For example – A student from XYZ Campus, can only vote for top teams from XYZ)
Each participant is entitled to one vote per campus, promoting a fair and competitive environment for all teams.
We encourage you to thoroughly review each team’s unique approach, creativity, and innovativeness before making selection.
