About ReLead

ReNew, a leading decarbonization solutions company, started ReLead 9 years ago with a vision of stimulating the talented youth of our country to think about the green energy space and develop a knowledge base to seek employment opportunities in the clean energy space.

The ReLead platform was created to bring in more awareness among the students of premier institutes about the renewable energy sector which is projected to employ millions of youth over the next decade. There are opportunities available across levels and functions.

ReLead is a business case study competition open to selected premier B-school students in India. The case study will focus on business issues that will help ReNew make strategic and financial decisions in our journey to becoming the most innovative clean energy solution provider.

Stages & Timelines

7^th August 26

ReLead Registration and Case Submission

The registration window will open for teams to register and confirm their participation in the competition. Once registered, teams will proceed to the case submission stage. A problem statement will be shared as a case study and the participating teams are required to submit the following two deliverables, in the prescribed format:

Executive Summary - A maximum 2-slide summary highlighting the proposed solution.
Main Presentation - A maximum 10-slide presentation (excluding an appendix of up to 20 slides).

Note: Teams must clearly state any assumptions made, and ensure the presentation can be delivered within 15 minutes.

Campus Round

After the case solutions are submitted by the teams, they undergo a thorough evaluation by our dedicated ReLead Campus Evaluator team. We select the top three teams from each campus, who are then invited to participate in the Campus Round.

The Campus Round will be a virtual/in-person event where the top three teams will present their solutions to our panel. All participating and non-participating students will be invited to attend the event so that they can also be part of the evaluation by "Voting for their ReLead Star" after the Campus Round.

National Final Round

Once the Campus Round is complete, we select our top five Campus Winners. These 5 Campus Winners are given a chance to visit our Head Office in Gurgaon for a day-long National Final Round where they present their cases to our eminent jury members. The teams will be given 15 minutes to present. Our National Finalists are evaluated by a mix of internal and external panel members.

Eligibility & Guidelines

Eligibility Criteria & Team Formation Guidelines:

Open to full-time 2-year MBA/PGDM students from the batch of 2027 and 2028 (1st and 2nd year students).
Participants must register in teams of three.
Participation is open only to students from the following campuses:
- Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi, New Delhi
- Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad
- Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore/li>
- Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta
- Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore
- Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kozhikode
- Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow
- Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad
- Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon
- Xavier School of Management (XLRI), Jamshedpur

General Instructions for Case Submission

Only registered teams can access the case study problem statement.
Two separate files need to be submitted on the website on or before the submission day as per the details mentioned below:
- Executive Summary - This should include the core idea/summary of your presentation and should not exceed 2 slides.
- Main Presentation - Do not exceed 10 slides for the main deck (excluding the appendix). Use your own judgment to decide the number of slides for each deliverable. The appendix should not exceed 20 slides.
To keep the content readable, do not use a font size below 10. Preferably, use 12 or above.
Submission Format: PDF
The case files and submission templates can be downloaded from the respective round.
Naming Convention: TeamName_CampusName.
All submissions across all rounds will be evaluated by the Renew Team, and the decision will be final & binding.

Voting Process and Guidelines

Steps of Voting:

To cast your vote for your ReLead Star:

Go to the Login Tab and enter your Campus Name and Campus Email ID.
Enter the OTP sent to your email.
Choose the team you want to vote for.
Click on Vote.
A pop-up notification will confirm: "You have successfully voted for your favorite team."

Voting Guidelines:

Please note that you can only vote for teams representing your campus (For example – A student from XYZ Campus, can only vote for top teams from XYZ)
Each participant is entitled to one vote per campus, promoting a fair and competitive environment for all teams.
We encourage you to thoroughly review each team’s unique approach, creativity, and innovativeness before making selection.
